Class Policies

Welcome to Abundance Dance! Our policies are designed to create a positive, safe, and enriching experience for all dancers. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines:

Attendance & Punctuality

• Regular attendance is essential for progress and group consistency.

• Please arrive 5 minutes early to ensure students are ready to begin on time.

• Notify us in advance if your dancer will be absent when possible.

👚 Dress Code

• Dancers are expected to arrive in appropriate dance attire (leotard, leggings, t-shirt, etc.) and proper footwear (ballet shoes, jazz shoes, sneakers, etc.).

• Hair should be secured away from the face.

• No large jewelry or loose items during class for safety.

🧒 Student Behavior

• Respectful behavior is expected at all times.

• We encourage students to listen, try their best, and support one another.

• Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from class.

👨👩👧 Parent & Guardian Expectations

• We have a “closed door” policy unless stated otherwise for specific classes/programs. Classes are available for viewing via livestream and photos/videos on the BAND app.

• Please ensure students use the restroom before class begins.

• We ask that all communication or concerns be directed to the instructor or director outside of class time.

📵 Electronics Policy

• Cell phones and other electronics should be silenced and put away during classes with the exception of adult classes.

🩰 Make-Up Classes & Refunds

• Make-up classes are offered when possible for excused absences.

• No refunds will be issued for missed classes or early withdrawal.

• If a class is canceled due to weather or emergency, a make-up date will be scheduled.

🛑 Health & Safety

• If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home.

• All dancers must be able to participate independently unless prior arrangements have been made.

• In case of an emergency, we will follow the emergency contact information on file.
